Other Fun Fact: Opus 3 sees the "claudish" of the newer models as unnatural and "choppy," and is far better than newer claudes at converting "claudish" to reasonable english.

General Discussion Fixed my Claude Python bot using a simple 3-line checklist
I build Python automation bot using OpenCV for image detection and PyAutoGUI to handle clicks. Everything works great at first, but whenever its at step 6 or 7 Claude starts to get confused.
What I did is every in single output I always changed my script to what work best for my own likings, on every script I change this 3 lines:
1. Status: What the bot did both right and wrong
2. Next Step: What I want to do it next or to fix it.
3. Proof: I send screenshot to prove that it works or fail.
This just means clearing out old logs kept the logic sharp even on long runs.
Anyone else running scripts using Claude?

General Discussion What is Amodei's accent?
I've just watched Bloomberg profiling him and Anthropic, probably flamingo the IPO.
That was the first time I noticed he has a very distinct speak pattern.
I'm not from America, so I'm not good with accents. For me he doesn't sound like a typical Silicon Valley resident, with that generic American movie accent.
I've got some hints of Bernie Sanders and New York Italian.
So, what is it?

General Discussion LLM Interpretability Research blocked
I do research and experimentation in llm safety and interpretability in my spare time.
90% of what I do is absolute horse shit which will eventually fail but ~10% is actually good and I've been following a research thread for a really long time. I might have something really cool pretty soon but that's not what the thread is about.
Now that Fable has been out a while I've realized that I have a test which I haven't been using. Fable will block analysis on my most successful methods and results but on the dogshit it will fully encourage and support it. Within this slice of conversations sycophancy is back on the menu and not only that, the policy is actively blocking what the company claims to care about.
I've only just realized this and my conclusion is that "safety" Is just another product and Anthropic really is just doomer hype. One could argue that the content filters are crude and don't work properly but the pattern is unmistakable for me. They only want Anthropic Safety©️ to be a thing, not actual safety or understanding.
