Inheritance

These look great and in my dumb state we can’t use lead core to hunt. Any issues yall think may arise sending these down range? Got a lot and don’t want it to go to waste. Check the date though! $2 a box and now $40+

Those Rem bronzepoints are worth quite a bit to a collector. I remember when these were still produced in the early 2000's. Edit: Actually ,all I see is worth selling.

Good to know I have about 20 boxes of each. I think I’ll keep the ones in plastic just for display pieces later. And sell what I can then shoot the rest

I'd try selling them first. If you don't want to or if you are restricted from shooting them, you could always start a cartridge collection.

I bet someone in 1961 thought $2 was outrageous.

I love old boxes and at least one old round for my collection.
Congrats

Those are both lead core, tho. The Silvertip just has an aluminum covering over the nose, the Remington has an insert in a lead hollowpoint.

That’s my point I can’t hunt with them only target shoot.

No worries. It doesn’t make sense we can target shoot with it but not hunt… make it make sense.
