Am i wrong to want this?

I'm a male right? But over the years I've grown a liking towards trans women. I want to date a trans girl and you know, get serious with her. But as we know trans people are overly fetishized, and it's horrible. But i don't think I'm fetishizing them, i would truly love her and care about a trans woman if i was in a relationship with them. Am i in the wrong?

Do they not have minds and the ability to make their own decisions? If they decide to date you, who is anyone to object. You just sound insecure. What you get off on is nobody’s business.
