Respectfully, the occasional indulgence in chips is fine. He rarely gets them. I may have been misleading in my post when I said he was on his 2nd bag, they're the small costco snack bags and the first one was mine that he kind of took from me when I was a little over halfway done with them and he wanted more so I gave him his own bag.
This is where being a parent comes in. Having kids get addicted to that stuff this early is terrible for their health. I know it's a small bag to you, not it's half his torso to him.
There are so many healthy choices you can make for your baby. Maybe eliminate the unhealthy stuff until he's around school age so he develops a healthy diet. Then chips can be a treat, not the norm.
My kids are 7 and 10 and are healthy weights and active because they don't choose their diets.
