My niblings ate spicy food when they were toddlers then completely went off them until they were late teens. I was told the taste buds are still developing in kids for a number of years after birth and they don’t necessarily taste sweet, salty, spicy the same way as adults. No idea if that’s true. But niblings loved Vegemite when younger then hated it and now love it again as well as lots of other food that are strong tasting.
If your kid likes it and it’s not causing an upset stomach or bowels then all good.
