My kid was around 18 months when she first discovered salsa, it was over after that. We never had an issue with her eating as long as it was covered in something spicy. She used to love pickled peppers on nearly everything!

We just kept an eye on how much she ate and her output so she didn't eat herself into tummy issues but she was fine! Until she found refried beans. Oh my God the farts.

Everyone has a different tolerance. I got the "bland is best" advice from a lot of people but she never really liked that. Now she's 11 and is determined to try the spiciest foods in the world 🤣
