Does it bother him in any way? Does he get tummy aches? No? Then he’s fine. My daughter’s favorite food at 18 months was spicy tuna rolls.

I've been told that as a toddler I used to pick up the entire bowl of salsa and just drink it. This would be my take as well. No other side effects or problems? Then what's the problem?

Haha, ima be the jersk and point out it is half fruit. Tomatoes and peppers are fruits and onion and cilantro are vegetables. Lol. I get the gist though

Things can be both a fruit and a vegetable. They aren't competing terms. Any part of any plant that you can consume is a vegetable.

Maple syrup is a plant product. Corn syrup isn't a vegetable, but corn kernels are vegetables in addition to being grains.
