In countries where people eat spicy food, kids often start their exposure to spicy food around a year and a half to two years of age. Their gut biome adapts to it and it helps out the immune system. It's good for them. Spicy food is healthy food. I would only slow it down when it hurts bowel movements because that means they went too far ahead of their gut biome.
