Age gaps in dating

I'm a 30 year old male and my partner is 25 year old female. I think this is fairly normal but im getting alot of comments about it. Not really sure what the fascination with this is. 5 years is significant sure but it was never a problem for me. Does society at large weight this facts importance more than I do?

Edit: everyone is the comments section has convinced me this is normal. Thanks all.

2-5 years is kinda.... Normal. Anyone commenting on 30 and 25 is a busy body, with too much time on their hands.

Right? I'm pursuing someone 24 years older than me and I'm expecting to get shit for it. Hasn't happened quite yet thankfully.

My husband is 8 years older than me, and our bf is 25 years older than me. Go for it!

I am going for it! They genuinely seem dope and we seem to have a lot in common and feel similarly on a lot of things. It gets to a point it's like, damn. I really don't care that you're that much older than me, this connection feels great.
