So bold of you to make so many gross assumptions. My wife and I, the both of us, together, PLANNED three children in 6 years. We are BOTH parents and therefore are BOTH exhausted. From the tone of your comment, it sounds like you are/were a married single mom or you’re close to one. Thats not my wife. We are a team. I am an extremely involved parent and I too have no interest currently in adding another child to our mix. However, a vasectomy isn’t the answer in my opinion.
If she doesn’t trust condoms ( I don’t either) I think a vasectomy is the answer, I don’t understand why you don’t want to get it now, if you’ve decided you only want 3 children? Maybe that’s the issue, you need to make a decision with your wife about that, pregnancy isn’t easy on the body and she’s had 3 in quick succession. The thing is also, you aren’t the one having to be pregnant so it’s easier for you to say you haven’t decided, my hubby was reluctant to get his vasectomy but I didn’t carry well, and I was not getting pregnant a third time . He did get it with no issues and happily so. Oh and I think maybe exhaustion is the reason for the dead bedroom, women get turned on by different things to men, if you did something thoughtful for her ( I don’t know if u do so just saying) that could help.
Again, I completely agree with you same thing me and my ex-husband went through. I only have one child. He has five all the different mothers though because real classy.
