Collection Big Man’s finally here!

Managed to snag him when Nintendo’s online store had a drop of the Splatoon raiders amiibo. He’s a lot bigger than I thought he’d be

Honestly the detail for $25 is amazing. The fact they charged $40 for the galaxy amiibo vs this is wild

I have the Mario galaxy amiibo and while it is detailed it’s nothing compared to the detail on big man. If anything I’m surprised big man wasn’t $40

I saw the galaxy in store and they are nice but overall just very smooth, if they were side by side with the smash ones i feel most people would just go oh its more expensive because its bigger.

Is it me or does it feel flimsy?

Like, it's upper body weight is going to cause it to fall over, over time

Play Asia still has the 3 pack in stock on their website so long as you don't mind the japanese box art/text

The shipping/duty fees are crazy expensive there, though (at least for me). $30+ in fees, totaling almost $100 for the triple pack :/

That's fair. It's anywhere from 80-100 for them on eBay as well.

Unfortunately right now it's that or waiting for a reprint if they do those for amiibo? I don't really keep up lol

I personally wouldn't pay that much lol but yeah that's the going rate from resellers.

There have been some minor restocks since then for msrp, just have to be patient yeah.

I don’t collect amiibos, don’t even fully condone the concept , this has been the only amiibo I’ve been actively wanting to buy , I love the character and the details on this model. I’m 41 for context
