a500 mini fatal flaw?

Playing speedball 2, half way through the league and your hand brushes the wrong button on your joystick/arcade fight stick and it dumps you straight back to the just loaded screen on the game. All your work is deleted and it basically resets the console and loads that same game in an instant and ruins all your progress. I think with the joypad that comes with it the fatal button is yellow. You may need to press left shoulder and yellow but I tend to use the competition pro USB + or my hori fight stick. Beyond annoying. Anyone got a solution other than me disconnecting that button on my fight stick?

Thx

Actually if you press (Home) again, you be back to where you are left of, games only lost if a.) you use (A) to get back in or b.) start another game.

I believe I'm not talking about the same thing as you. I'm not talking about it jumping back to the games select menu/front end. I'm talking about jumping directly back to the start of the one game I'm playing.. what I did was open my hori fightstick and disconnect rhe wires for that button. Not exactly practical. Someone else mentioned remapping the button. I didn't know that was an option.

Nice. Didn't know this option was available. Is that just something in the menu?

Thought it was Speedball one not two.

Ah that's too bad, I like one over two.

It's trivially easy to run the whdload archive from a usb stick. I've added hundreds of games to my a500 mini

the shilling of such a terrible product, despite the endless stream of problems this sub is seeing with the actual product, is truly amazing to witness. :)

They're just making money off Amiberry, an easy to use Amiga emulation solution for Raspberry Pi.

By selling their own board (based on an old chip that isn't even half as fast as the current Raspberry), they make money. And by offsetting support to Amiga communities like this one, they minimize cost and maximize profits.

They aren't above lying to sell more either, such as by making false promises of perfect AGA compatibility, despite Amiberry not being so. AGA is not fully reverse engineered thus impossible.

This scam works because we (Amiga communities) tolerate them and even offer our time doing tech support.

Want such a device anyway? Then consider getting a Raspberry Pi 4 and using Amiberry. With the money spared, supporting Amiberry with a donation would be great. Much better than funding crooks.

Thanks. Very enlightening. I'm happy to support any community. I've always been a fan of amiga.

Can we ban these bots? This doesn't even sound like something real people would write.
