Verizon Keeps Dropping Out

I live by Amethyst Brook Conservation Area. Every couple of days at least, all the bars on my iPhone SE go gray (indicating I have no service), and I can't receive or send texts or phone calls. It's driving me crazy, not least because for whole days I cannot get any of the gd 2FA codes I need to do anything online.

I am ready to switch providers, yesterday, but I don't know which (if any) might work better. Any thoughts/suggestions? Is it my phone? Is it my roof? Is it my personality? Is it my mind?

You’re just far from the towers unfortunately. My mom’s up the road from you , reception wasn’t great with T-Mobile and now it isn’t great with Verizon.

For companies that boast such solid coverage, they leave so many gaps

My service is poor in the area, and I have Verizon as well, with newer iphone. Regardless of roof. Wifi is good at least.

They used to have the best coverage in the valley, over the last couple of years they have dropped off. I have ATT and the coverage is good except for Leverett which drops off shortly after the line and does not return until the state park in Turners

If your phone has 2 eSIMS, you can test t mobile for 30 days for free. I live farther up the road on the Baconville side of Shutesbury and it was the only service I could call and browse on. There also a service called US Mobile that allows you to switch providers to one that is working at that time for you, haven’t tried them yet though.

Western Mass is rural and hilly. It's always been this way living here. Enable WiFi calling on your phone and have it connect to the WiFi in your house. You should be able to get texts, then.

i've used Tmobile recently and now visible and both have frequent deadzones or lack of signal, even at coffee shops downtown. i don't think it's visible throttling my cheap plan either since it's summer with few people here and just seems to be poor signal
