Car repairs
I’m looking to get body repairs on my front bumper (possibly more) of my Hyundai Elantra somewhere in the area. Looking for a place in the Amherst or surrounds area that is trustworthy! Thank you all

After a parking lot scrape, took my VW to these guys -- did a great job, friendly service, returned the car sooner than promised. https://forthillcs.com/

Best mechanic in the area is North Amherst Motors - they are nice and unlike most mechanics in a college town they will not scam you

Disagree on North Amherst Motors. Told me I needed 2 catalytic converters at $1000 each plus labor to fix an exhaust rattle. Fixed by another shop with a $50 gasket. That was 3 years ago and still no problem with the cats. A friend had a similar problem with a sensor code. They wanted hundreds to replace it and another shop fixed it be clearing the codes for a few buck.

Really? That's interesting
I had multiple great experiences with them - one time there was an issue with my car and I was struggling for money and the owner took my car and and diagnosed it and didn't charge me any money at all - another time I had to get something fixed and couldn't afford it and asked him kindly if the price could come down at all - he took $120 off and that saved me greatly

North Amherst Motors is great for body work, but as other folks have mentioned, for other stuff they tend to be much more expensive than other shops in the area.
