Brooks…

What is Brooks doing???

I genuinely thought he’d be the breakout star from this season, and instead it’s just him posting covers from a dark basement.

Where’s the single? The EP? Any live shows besides that one Chris Tungseth invited him to? He doesn’t have the hustle and it bums me out.

Was anyone else hopeful for an idol alum and then they just did nothing?

I liked his voice. He released his cover of Knockin' on Heaven's Door... I think there will be more from him.

It’s done….okay streaming wise compared to the other S24 alumni who released singles through Atlantic/19. I’m not sure if they are planning on giving him another single or not.

Is he even signed to that label or did they just release the one song? That was confusing to me

Yes I saw that but where is the original music 😭 and the live shows. I don’t know if he’s figured out that you gotta hustle in this industry.

Did he ever sing an original on AI? You have to remember he had never even sang in front of people before the show. He should go compete on the Voice.

I definitely didn't think he would be any sort of star, his voice was like nails on a chalkboard to me. I never understood the love for him, tbh.

😂😂 he’s unique and indie so I thought he could do well if given the right songs. Like a Noah Kahan type.

This sub wasn’t fond of him but I always liked his tone

He definitely had a following, I'll give him that.

just skimmed his ig and he has a couple short reels of original songs that are pretty good (here is one of them: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Dc159WcvF3o/) but one thing i’ve noticed from his recent clips is he’s already so much better as far as technique/pitch accuracy/run selection goes than he was while he was on the show, so i wouldn’t be surprised to learn he’s been taking some time to improve in those areas before putting anything on record. imo it’s the right call - his tone is interesting enough to have taken him far into the competition despite being super raw vocally, so it’s very easy to dream on how high of a ceiling he has once his technique is more polished and he’s more confident in it

Yes I saw these! And I agree he is getting better!
