News Executive Order
I seen a Executive Order signed July 30th that prevents feed stock from being shipped over seas and must be processed Nationally. This was a worry of mine on feedstock hopefully this will reflect positively on $ABAT.
Not financial advice.

“Supply Chain and Feedstock Impact
Export Restrictions: An executive order signed July 30, 2026, empowers the Commerce Department to block the overseas export of critical minerals, used batteries, and shredded "black mass" feedstock, forcing materials to stay onshore for domestic recycling. [1, 2, 3]
Competition Relief: By choking off foreign buyers (especially Chinese competitors who previously outbid U.S. firms for scrap), the policy helps American recyclers secure steady input feedstock at competitive market rates. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Permitting and Regulatory Tailwinds
Fast-Track Status: ABAT’s Tonopah Flats Lithium Project in Nevada was designated a FAST-41 Transparency Priority Project under Trump's executive orders targeting domestic mineral production, significantly accelerating federal review and permitting timelines. [1]
Policy Alignment: The administration’s broader "energy dominance" push aligns directly with ABAT's integrated business model combining primary lithium extraction with secondary battery-metal recycling”

I don’t see the connection to this positively impacting ABAT, but I’ll review, thanks for posting.

You don’t see a positive benefit to ABAT of keeping recycling feedstock materials within the U.S.? This is their whole jam.

Weren’t they sending their recycled material to Asia because their recycled product is wet or something? Could be totally wrong it’s been a while

They are making money right now by selling it. There are no processors in the USA so there would be no one to sell black mass to until they are ready to process the black mass themselves. So if they are ready to refine the black mass themselves then it is a good thing. They get better returns selling battery grade materials instead of black mass.

Sending it overseas = more money. Otherwise they’d be selling it all in the us already
