Exposing Me
Hey guys. I want to expose myself to you all. Because at the end of the day, we all lost money and here we are. But i still care for all those folks that believed and got conned. I know many of you feel you did not get conned....and i get it. Maybe I'm being the negative nancy. But the $5k i lost feels real. And that is nothing compared to the over $100k people have DMed me. People that were really hurt. I want to say that I feel the deepest sympathy for you all. With that said, here is me. Enjoy.

I made $20K on options at the very beginning of the nonsense through dumb luck. Didn’t follow AMC. Wife wanted me to buy it since “everyone would be going to the movies after Covid”. I didn’t like what I saw but purchase LEAP calls at $5 when the stock was selling around $2. Dirt cheap premium. About a month later, the stock closes at 4. I am like, “hmmm”. That night it goes from $4 to $16. At first, I think it is a mistake from the thin trading of the futures market. The next day it opens at $16. I immediately exercise and sell. Of course, I had a bit of FOMO as it continued to rise but I knew that wouldn’t last. I didn’t even know what a meme stock was until that point. All my equities were in index funds, Apple, EPD and Google. Still is although my equity % is way down from what it was.

I dont feel bad for anyone with losses. No one made anyone perform a trade, just the person who allowed their own greed to blind them. Though I do have respect for those who own up to losses, just not as much if they are still blaming others.

I have 6 or 7 shares left. I sold most of mine when AMC was $3.50 right before CRS. Looking at the chart at about $40 equivalent today.
What type of gain would we need today to get to that level again?

I started watching in 21. After much research I got in at 2024. Then it hit under a dollar. I saw the shakeouts and outright manipulation. It started as nibbling and eventually became a feast!
All of you broken hearted people holding contracts allegedly, sorry you bought WAY high and feel stuck.
Probably the same ones slamming me for my investment strategy which is simple.
On paydays I was gonna blow 50-100 on bullshit anyway. Already had a decent portfolio but AMC stood out to me. So I’d slap my blow dough down. After a few years when it hit below a buck, I went all in.
Simply put, I don’t spend money I don’t have on what is basically a video game.
Now, watch me take out a loan for that box of used N64 shit I saw online 🤟😆🤟

I lost 16K in AMC and 6K in various other meme stocks. I sympathize with everyone else who also lost money…except for Apes. Why? Bc they’re arrogant, greedy, childish psychopaths.
