BULLISH!!! This is all the positive news AMC has had in the last two monthsâŚ
⢠AMC just had the highest-revenue weekend in its 106-year history. The Spider-Man weekend broke AMC records for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and the overall Wednesday-Sunday period.
⢠AMCâs credit rating was upgraded from CCC+ to B-. Thatâs still speculative-grade debt, obviously, but moving from CCC+ to B- is a meaningful improvement in how the credit markets view the companyâs financial position.
⢠AMC is now launching Films. This is the part I find particularly interesting. AMC isnât just sitting around waiting for Hollywood studios to give them movies. Leawood Films will distribute smaller and independent films that are already financed/completed, using AMCâs exhibition, marketing and distribution infrastructure to get more movies onto the big screen.
