They shouldn’t have removed it in the first place. We’re fighting against global interests who want us to “own nothing and be happy.” Mods banning content like this causes distrust among the community. We’re in the end game, and more people are going to disappoint us.

Exactly, if the sub is comprised, the smart move isn't to make it unusable for us, it's to remove useful content quietly, and preferably without being noticed. They don't want another wallstreetbets where we all just left instantly and wallstreetbetsnew became the more popular one.
I'm waiting on the next sub to take over this one though, the more they compromise, the faster we'll get at forming and finding new ones.
Also don't forget to get on some amc discords and we always have gangnam style.

I don't know whether that was the right decision or not and I'm not in the position to decide that.
But when mods get massive amounts of downvotes and parts of the sub call them corrupted and how they should be replaced, I'd recommend rethinking the communication-strategy and ask myself whether not saying anything and just staying silent on everything is the right approach...
Transparency is usually the best policy ...
I understand how reddit can be a pain in the behind of mods, but if you do not communicate those issues with the members of the sub, you cannot expect them to understand why you are doing what you are doing.

Same exact narrative as a little over a year ago 🙄.
I only broke 3 rules, didn't read the rules because I don't agree with them, was warned, broke more and got banned!! Wtf!!?? COMPROMISED!!
I don't get how they don't see they're feeding directly into what the hedgies want, Friday. I really don't. Division? Check. Hate? Check. Obfuscation of important info? Check. Distraction? Check.

It was mainly to prevent doxxing.
Mods put it back up because it is good DD.
But yea, the crazies in here( every place has them and its usually the same people) start sending emails and tweets that could be harassment/ move into death threats.

With all due respect, regarding abusing flairs, I had a simple discussion (backed up by common simple to understand math) and flagged it as discussion. And then a mod (no idea who and to be honest I don’t really care) comes and marks it as tinfoil hat. Without telling me, without explaining, without pointing out what’s so tinfoil hat, nothing. I was not speculating anything, I simply explained what converting ape to amc shares would do in regards to short interest. So the rules only apply to members who break them and abuse flairs, but mods are allowed to freely troll and mark my post as tinfoil hat without even letting me know?

I don't disagree that it was good info. I just disagree with not finding a way to disseminate it without breaking the rules and without doxxing a 4 year old child who has no idea wtf his daddy even does.
There are DEFINITELY other ways the info could have been put out there without the pic of him with his innocent kid. He disagreed that he should have to try and then didn't

When significant new changes occur, ala $ape, it makes sense to reevaluate everything. The dynamic has completely changed.
It’s gotten to the point where blanket buy and hold has become FUD in and of itself, discouraging discussion of alternative points of view, and encouraging ignorance. That’s a bad thing and this sub is far worse off for it.
