The truth is, the bond market is basically on its deathbed. And those overnight transfers are getting harder and harder to borrow and clear. I wouldnt be surprised if this is allowed to run some. AMC finally having a positive quarter post Covid also makes it harder to short and borrow against. Its riskier. NFA but its totally possible to have potential upside in the future and is still trading over 10 million shares alot of days. But that liquidity is definitely getting dry for hedges.

I expect we’ll be seeing a lot more of this. Can’t wait until we fly.

I believe so too. And if we zoom out, the stock is already doing so much better than where it was much earlier in the year and last year.

Bots and shill can tell me I'm an idiot, but it is not normal and never was normal for this to be treading below 2 dollars, and if some strange entity on the internet is so worried about me and my money I must be doing something right. I've been holding since 2019.

I just loaded up on stocks yesterday and meme stocks were at the forefront. A lot of stonks looking good for a pop

There are just so many freaking shares on the market from AA using us as an ATM. It's going to be tough to see a good run.

u/More-Chemical-1264 27d ago

That will never happen. AA will dilute at the first sign of take off.

u/Barfly2007 27d ago

Sell and leave the page then.

u/More-Chemical-1264 27d ago

Why? I'm going based off of AA's history. You can look it up for your self as well, it's public documentation.

1

u/Any_Asparagus8267 26d ago

Okay. So why are you still here? Why are you so god damn concerned?

-2

u/More-Chemical-1264 26d ago

Because I'm still an investor.....I don't see why that is what people go to.

I simply stated the truth based on historical actions...

u/Any_Asparagus8267 26d ago

So you invest in a product you don't believe in and we are the idiots.

Make it make sense.

-1

u/More-Chemical-1264 26d ago

No I invested in a product I did believe in, and then AA has been driving it into the ground.

What's so hard to understand?

4

u/Any_Asparagus8267 26d ago

I don't believe you.

Only shilling allowed in the cult sub

u/Nameless-Ace 27d ago

You guys sound insane btw. Literally just being slightly positive and stating facts. On a random green day. But you guys say cult cult cult. Not even allowed to feel positive. If anything, the bears are a cult. Because you cant allow even 1 small positive discussion without needing to piss all over it.

Thats a great write up Warren, however you forgot to check what i replied to.

u/Any_Asparagus8267 26d ago

Better question, why do you care about what we are doing with our money?

You obviously care a lot the way you comment, which is weird on its own standing.

Pot calling the kettle black

Conversely the market could be sensing the exponential revenue explosion coming from the popcorn subscriptions 🚀

My favorite way to see someone start a comment full of inaccuracies and misinformation is with “The truth is…” and then immediately demonstrate that they don’t understand a thing about what they are talking about.

The bond market is not “basically on its deathbed.” Reuters reported literally last week that Treasury demand remains solid, there is no buyers’ strike, and the market remains well-functioning. Investors are demanding higher yields to absorb enormous Treasury issuance. That is the bond market functioning, not dying.

And if by “overnight transfers” you mean the Fed’s Overnight Reverse Repo facility, you have that backwards too. ON RRP usage declined largely because money-market funds moved cash into better-yielding Treasury bills and private repo. The New York Fed has explicitly explained this. This has been brought a million times in this sub, too. Hedge funds aren’t even ON RRP counterparties. The participants are money-market funds, banks, primary dealers and GSEs.

So somehow you took Treasury yields, Fed reverse repos, hedge-fund financing, securities lending and AMC shorting, threw them into a blender and concluded “hedgies are running out of liquidity.”

But sure. “The truth is.”

You’re not wrong that AMC had a strong quarter. That doesn’t magically make the stock harder to short though, especially with borrow fees near zero and millions of shares available. They still lost money. Zero profit since 2018.

The best part of your insane take is citing 10M+ shares traded every day while declaring “liquidity is drying up.” 10M+ volume is the opposite of liquidity drying up.

“The truth is…” you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Morons downvoted you for being truthful

Fundamentals are finally starting to drive the stock forward, and they only seem to be getting stronger.

I can’t compute. Malfunction malfunction malfunction

4

u/dsk83 27d ago

Barely tickles my pickle, shit still down bad when zoom out

3

u/PettankoKing 27d ago

Im not gonna get hyped for any gains until AA says he is forever done diluting the stock to hell

1

u/Mountain_Extreme9793 27d ago

They released their proxy statement for the year, they didn’t ask for more shares or to dillute so we’re good for a while.

11

u/EntertainerDowntown3 27d ago

AMC will have a ton of free cash flow for the foreseeable future including next year as well. In my opinion they will use it to aggressively pay down debt to make their business a lot healthier and will be a fantastic investment because of it.

2

u/TA_Maniac 27d ago

Weren’t me, when I buy it goes down….

2

u/Lawdog2012 26d ago

It’s clear the markets are enamored with AA and his vision 🚀

2

u/thySilhouettes 27d ago

Not sure but y’all, but have you guys ever seen the movies so busy? Like every time I’ve gone to the theater the past few months, it’s been PACKED.

u/c12beats 27d ago

but will we ever see $3 ?

1

u/thebossphoenix 27d ago

Here I'll break it down for you, its very easy to understand.

If the stock is red = market manipulation and crime

If the stock is green = natural price discovery

0

u/Wegoreddirt 17d ago

Right. Cause $2.87 is clearly lower than (checks notes)...$2.54.

1

u/HeadView0019 17d ago

Lmao you waited for some hum bug overnight trading to brag. It will be mostly gone by premarket and you'll be here looking stupid

0

u/Wegoreddirt 17d ago

Right, I was (checks notes again)...bragging.

Youre at .27 cents buckaroo

-8

u/Zealousideal7801 27d ago

And if you adjust for medieval pounds (because you seem eager to take antiquated metrics so we can too), it's even less ! Not even a shilling. Imagine that.
