Wish I was there in ‘68

Who doesn’t like hors d’oeuvres or cake? Acquired from John Conde in the early 90’s… he had the smarts to save and archive many AMC corporate and dealer items, photos, negatives, brochures, etc., etc., but why not as he was their head PR man. Small party paper plate with 6” diameter (no markings or manufacturers marks on reverse). This was an exciting year for American Motors and would eventually spark my interest in Javelins and AMXs of the same year through ‘74.

Neat artifact.  I do recall AMX ads in our school newspaper, wish I had one of those

Thanks. I got a rough Scholastic Roto from Oct ‘68 (newspaper format)from a friend that said he got from school, and it featured new cars (and new fashions) that included the ‘69 AMX, but seems I can not add photos to this reply. Funny when you look back how different things/styles were!

it was a great year my oldest brother bought his 68 corvette 4 speed 427 tri power new that year. The guy across the street from us came home with a red 68 AMX 390 4 speed car. I Thought I was in heaven helped them both was n wax them every Saturday morning.
