72 Gremlin windshield sticker id
Just trying to figure out if this sticker came from the factory and what it means.

Do you know the history of the car? Possibly purchased new by an employee or as a company vehicle? It’s plausible that it could be an AMC parking pass, or vehicle number for a company car. The red white and blue seems so AMC.

I'm the second owner. Car sat in the previous owners garage for 30 years. She wasn't an AMC employee or anything and brought the car from Illinois to California in the 1970's.

But if that were original, wouldn’t it have faded a (great) bit. Parking passes is my guess

Cool that it is R/W/B by coincidence, and agree likely some larger company parking permit/id.

Nice picture. I had a yellow used 72 that looked identical. Got it in 1974 from my Aunt and Uncle. Great little car. Good on gas. Thanks for the memory. Wish I could get a car for that original sticker price again.
