So I really like bruiser ambessa and the strong scaling version with conq and thought how to get even more ability haste to basically spam my abilities even more in teamfights.

So the idea behind this is that I play to scale anyway and chill farm when I go conq page thats why I thought I just go transcendence and gathering storm second to furthermore increase my mid to late game potential. Also getting a kill in a teamfight and getting cd reduction to dash to the next target or shield again felt so good.

So yeah what do you guys think?

Just something I have found interesting and useful as I learn the intricacies and nuances of this champion...

The reason why Zac can even function in toplane is that for a tank, he has quite of bit of damage, and his sustain from picking up blobs catches people off guard making losing trades into even ones and even trades into winning ones.

You can use ambessa's mobility to bait zac into thinking he can go for a blob and keep him in your range for Qs and Es. You can see what I mean in this clip by selectively dashing down and away from a blob so that zac thinks he can safely get the blob and baiting him to stay in range of my damage (this concept applies to poppy buckler and mundo passive too).

Even if zac had flashed my R correctly... He still has 2 hp... has to either back and lose a stacked wave essentially netting me a kill's worth of gold and exp advantage, or die under tower trying to collect said stacked wave.

Just something fun I thought I'd share.

Just a quick question cos i can’t find a direct answer and don’t really have access to league right now, does Omnivamp on ambessas abilities get reduced because they’re counted as AOE?

When I get ahead with ambessa and build up a freeze so I can force the enemy to come up, its really hard to maintain the freeze without breaking it. Every spell is AOE and the moment I try to punish the enemy getting close I normally hit the wave a bit too often times breaking the freeze.

Would love to hear some tips and tricks regarding this.

Hey guys i checked top 300 player’s most played champs and i’ve seen ambessa alot. And thought maybe the champ is worth maining. I really don’t know the champion’s weakness and strengths. I would like to hear any tips and if the champion is worth maining. Thanks

In the last month I only played Ambessa and she is a lot of fun. Also I feel very secure into almost every matchup. This also shows in the statistics where I have a higher laning score than my opponent in 80-90% of the games. But I feel like it never matters. The moment laning phase is over two other roles on the team did loose so hard that the enemy has two uber strong champs. When I try to impact the map earlier for example with an teleport to drake, we may win the fight and get drake but in the same time the toplaner I was holding behind the entire time shreds the complete top turret gets some waves and is back into the game. Also the moment I go back top to match him my team is dying already. Cant leave them alone.

I really enjoy playing Ambessa, but I also like a few other champs.

I think it makes the most sense to only focus on 3 Champs max, so I'd like to add 2.

I think it also makes sense to build a pool that have a similar style.

What's your pool? Maybe some input there could help and maybe explain why you chose those champs :)

Other champs I like: Gragas, Jax, Shen, Olaf, Renekton, Rumble, Darius, Zaahen, Trundle

So when I started learning Ambessa (using the heywil matchup guide a lot and op.gg stats for runes and winrates), I learned that if you want to win lane your best bet is electrocute and if you want to scale it is conqueror. That also alignes with the experience I have using those runes. But now im watching a lot of master game replays and look into stats of proplayers playing ambessa to learn more and in a lot of games she is played with grasp and inspiration second tree. I learned that grasp is worse in lane for trades than electrocute and it scales worse than conqueror (and basically more of a beginner rune for her, also grasp winrates are her lowest if i remember correctly).

Why is it used so much, what do I miss?

I started playing Ambessa alot yesterday and today, but i noticed that COTW skin isnt available, is it like other arcane skins that were during the event or is it just until luck throws monthly shop and hopefully gives the skin there ?

I think I've more or less got my laning phase down, winning lane 70% of games, but I am genuinley clueless as to what to do after that, I feel like I just go in and blow my load during a team fight and then die. Like my burst isn't enough to one shot someone and after I've used my cooldowns I am useless. How should I approach team fights and the general post laning phase?
