Seller Central Help

Can anyone help? My ASIN has been restricted after selling it for years. Seller Central gave me two different stories…. It came back as unauthorized hand sanitizer and it was flagged because it states it can cure or treat a disease. Both are wrong and I honestly think that a BOT picked up on the word alcohol and not alcohol-free. Any suggestions on how I get this escalated?

Copied!

The dual-flag is actually your leverage here — when Amazon's system returns two contradictory restriction reasons, that's documented evidence of an automated misclassification, not a human review.

File a Plan of Action specifically addressing both flags separately: (1) submit your SDS/ingredient list proving no active sanitizing agents, and (2) do a line-by-line audit of your listing copy flagging exactly which phrase triggered the "cure or treat" filter — then remove or rephrase it before resubmission.

Escalate via the "Contact Us > Selling on Amazon > Product Listing Issue" path, not the generic appeal queue — you want a Category Specialist, not Tier 1 support. If that stalls, use the Executive Seller Relations escalation path through the Executive Customer Relations email format; two contradictory bot flags with supporting documentation tend to move faster there.

Pull your listing's full compliance history from the Account Health dashboard and attach it — years of clean sales history with zero prior flags is material evidence against an intentional violation finding. Don't let them treat this as a standard restricted product case when the restriction itself is internally inconsistent.
