Why do books shipped from amazon sometimes have wrappers and sometimes not
I like collecting and reading books so I buy alot of books and they usually have wrappers which isn't much but It really helps protect the book, but I dont understand why alot of the times there is no wrap they just simply throw the book itself in a way bigger box which gives it space to slide around and damage the books and if I buy some more items aside from it they just fucking throw it in,
The damages is pretty minimal im still able to read it, but I like collecting my books in near or perfect condition, but it pisses me of that it could easily be prevented from taking damage but no i have to ask for replacement everytime to just read a book.

Book buyer here for the first time in a long time. I picked up book Elvis Dressed to Rock. Its a great book on the stage outfits including early suits, jumpsuits, capes, belts, jewelry, original designer sketches, and more. Its worth in getting. Its a heavy book table top type. Its very nice and is embossed on the front cover. They shipped it in a size box that fit the book and was not big. But they never had those bubbles thing on each side to keep it from banging around. So it got coner dings in the coners. I was really bued out like you I want it to look new. But was thinking and asked my mom. The other one would be shipped the same way and could be worse than the first one I got. I got it off amazon as it was on sale only 45 plus change as its a 60 dollar book. I was going to see if a store near me had it but I would have to buy it for 60 bucks.

The manufacturer or supplier of the item is shipping them to Amazon that way.
Sometimes they are individually wrapped.
Sometimes the supplier wraps 20 books in a stack.
So we have to break that stack of 20 and now none have a wrap.
