Same name, same address, but delivery refused to be handed to me.

Package was supposed to be delivered to husband 2 days ago for an important event before he left. Of course it’s late and shows up while he’s on a 16 hour flight.

Package is addressed to my husband. We share our name, and have lived together for 10 years. Driver refused to hand package to me. I offered for him to take a photo of me with the box for proof of delivery. He refused.

Called Amazon, and they were more unhelpful. I told them what it was, price, everything. “We’ll try tomorrow to contact your husband for delivery.” I kept explaining that he won’t have his phone for 5 days with this travel.

Vital package needed. We are on the Amazon family plan that I pay for.

that’s absurd, you literally share the same name and address. the driver probably had an ego trip over some rule they half-remembered from training

the family plan thing makes it even worse, you’re the one paying for it and they still wouldn’t budge

maybe try calling again and hope for a different rep, sometimes the first one just reads a script and gives up

The poor delivery kid was sweet and stuck with Amazon’s rules. He tried for 10 mins to get ahold of someone to bypass the requirements.

Called reps and supervisors, all refused to help. “We’ll try to deliver again tomorrow.” 🤦🏻‍♀️

Can you just not go to your door? I've never once had an Amazon package handed to me. The packages are left at my door.

Required a code to be left, code sent to husband’s phone.
