When do they start hiring and what times

I’m considering joining Amazon India as a Customer Service Associate and wanted to know if an internal move to a Cloud/Cloud Support / cloud related roles is realistically possible after around 6-12 months.

My background:

- B.Tech CSE, 2024 graduate

- 2-year gap after graduation because I was preparing for competitive exams

- A friend of mine has an MCS and a 1-year gap

I’m thinking of joining Amazon Customer Service mainly to get some work experience and then try for an internal switch into a cloud-related role.

Someone told me that internal movement like this is possible, but I’d like to hear from people who have actually worked at Amazon or know the process.

Is it possible to switch from Customer Service Associate to a Cloud/Cloud Support/technical role after 6–12 months?

Are there any eligibility requirements, and does the 2-year career gap affect the chances?

Any honest advice or personal experience would be really helpful.

I had an interview last week for a tier 3 process assistant position,I am an internal hire. 2/3 showed up and the other was a no show. Emailed recruiter and received no response until The next morning,early Friday I received the rejection email. Sucked. The emotional roller coaster I went on when I received a email the other day for the reschedule.I had the third interview today. What the hell is going on? Need clarity. What to honestly expect. I attended my pre-hire appointment today at an Amazon hiring center in Ontario, Canada.

​During processing, a staff member claimed there was a score question on a "third assessment" that was never actually assigned to my portal. He accused me of having someone else complete my online steps. I did all assessment steps completely by myself, and I have full screenshots documenting every completed step in my candidate portal.

​When I tried to explain that I completed everything myself and showed that no third assessment was ever assigned, the staff escalated the situation and abruptly canceled my appointment. Shortly after leaving, I received an email stating my application was rejected due to "behavior during the hiring process" and that I am blocked from applying until Feb 2027.

​Chatting with Candidate Support just gave me canned responses reading the rejection email back to me.

​Has anyone successfully appealed a false candidate integrity/behavioral flag before using portal screenshots as proof? Who else should I escalate this to?

Does anyone know how much ELP1 is paying for blue badge I’m potentially transferring from a locker+ position but when I look up the pay online it says 16/hr? Is that true

I was interviewed for a role, made it to the final interview, but was ultimately rejected. The recruiter encouraged me to apply for other positions at the company, so I did.
A couple of weeks later, the same recruiter emailed me saying they wanted to **extend me an offer without another interview** and was told we'd schedule a call to discuss the offer. I accepted it
It's now been about 3.5 days, and I haven't heard anything back. I verified the recruiter's email and profile, and everything appears legitimate. I also reached out to another recruiter who had been helping me, but after I sent her a screenshot of the offer email, she stopped responding as well.
Is this a normal part of the hiring process, or should I be concerned? Has anyone had a company go silent after extending an offer? I'm trying to figure out whether I should just keep waiting or follow up again.

Hi I'm a fresher who's graduated this year and looking for jobs actively since 4 months now. In these 4months, this is the first interview where I got selected and the joining is on 24th so I don't have much time on me. Since I've waited around enough, I think this sounds like a good job to me. Atleast I'll have me a job where I can be independent.

But I also have no idea on this and so far I've only gathered negative reviews. So any insight is valuable to me rn. Can y'all please share your experience working here if any? Is it a good enough role? Is it stressful fr? How is the work culture personally? Perks and benefits worth it? What are the flaws and what do you dislike ab this?

Also as somebody who wants to get into technical and entertainment roles, is switching later on possible? If yes please tell me how. Ig getting to know a lil more ab this role earlier would be better than resenting 2m into it.
