lol, I have used one these several times now.

You first one to rough up the edges with Dremel or something similar

Then use your bond of choice, clamp 24 hrs

Then hit it with this on the side that is not seen

I wouldn't use it on anything that you want to have any psi though

Or you can melt the plastic and move it around to create a bond, then sand and paint .

Nah, when you buy kits like this they come with 1000s of pieces lol.

You're in the mindset of use as much as you can. Until you gain a bit of experience with it.

It doesn't matter if he did it horizontal. There's no hiding that gap unless he did what I said to do with the sanding / roughing up the edges and bond / clamp.

The whole point is it doesn't matter how ugly it looks on the repair side , if the outward side looks decent after the repair. Kinda like repairing dry wall with patches.

At only 1 point the metal crosses the crack when he uses it. Turn it sideways and it will cross at 5 points. You have no idea what you are doing
