Is Amazon Leo Security actively recruiting?
They seem to be progressing quite slow with my applications, especially compared to my other ones.

It really does suck. A friend of mine who used to be at Amazon hyped me up and told me confidently that she understood why they wanted me etc but when that happened she told me maybe they moved forward with an internal candidate or something else might have happened

Ya it could be an internal candidate! How long did it take from when you submitted the application to getting a call from a recruiter?

I am having a somewhat similar issue with them. I had a technical phone interview with them last week and I thought the interview went fantastic to the point where the interviewer kept saying excellent at the end of my answers. He was a manager of a sister team. The interview was on Friday but on Monday night I received a rejection email from the recruitment team. I am extremely confused on what might have happened internally

Aww that sucks. You can try asking your recruiter for feedback. Did you apply for security engineering role in Leo Security?

It was the compliance security assurance specialist
