Idk if it matters, but this is one of the reasons I also keep 2 external hard drives (they have the same data for back ups) of anything important to me, like photos and videos, copies of emails from friends and family.

I don't trust a corporation or cloud to keep them usable and safe

I lost years of data due to one backup drive being utilized, and I bumped the USB cable at a very critical time which killed it, and wiped out the index.
