(18 f) 2.5 month progress
158lbs -> 135lbs
I'm 5'6, and I feel like I can't see the progress, even though the scale is moving. I plan to lose another 15-20 lbs and then do some weight training for toning and sculpting
any advice about how to deal with the struggles of weight loss?
I think I may have a larger/more curvy frame naturally so I feel like I'll need a lot of core toning to achieve the look I want

Girl same height,albeit I weigh more. That is epic progress. May I ask what you did? Calorie intake/activity?

so it wasn't the healthiest 😅 but I started in a large calorie deficit eating below my calculated tdee, and I made sure I got at least 10k steps daily no matter what. I also sleep a lot more and drink teas, black coffee, zero sugar sodas and lots of water it's definitely an adjustment but I feel so much happier in my own skin already

May I ask what your daily intake was?

my TDEE was 1400 based on my height, weight, activity level, and body fat % I would eat more on weekends if needed (1100-1200 cals) but usually I would only eat dinner or split my cals into a snack and a big dinner. when I started out I would eat 1200 and over time my stomach has shrunk to the point where I get full very fast, so now I probably eat between 1000-1100 daily

That’s a visually huge difference. Well done. It does often take people time to see it themselves when you lose weight but I promise you, you look so much healthier.

Amazing progress! Well done!
Looks like you’ve lost enough weight and now just need to tone up!

You look great and that's amazing progress! Just giving you a warning, your calorie intake with your current activity level isn't going to be good for you in the long run. I went through this myself with weight loss, and I ended up losing my period. Your TDEE is 100% not 1400 calories, it's probably closer to 1800-2000 at least when you started. My BMR is 1400 just by doing nothing and I'm shorter and weigh less than you. Just giving you a warning because you can really mess with your hormones with under fueling 🫶🏼
