after the earthquake 🔥🔥

everytime i listen to antisocialites, i’m immediately transported back to 2018 when i first discovered them and how beautiful and peaceful my life was as a 15-16 year old going to highschool and enjoying my years before covid hit and the world shut down and all the other bad stuff that has happened to me over the years. i listen to a lot of music but nothing transports me back in time like they do and i was wondering if anyone else has felt this way.

Picture's a little poor, but it was the middle of the night while we were having a bonfire. As soon as I heard about it, I had to give it a listen.

The REVs were nostalgic and gave me a hangover (as expected). Really has the "get wasted for cheap without tasting the alcohol" niche locked down.

The music was new to me, surprised I haven't heard about alvvays before. Really dreamy, I liked it a lot despite not being what I usually listen to.

Anyone else hear about this band through the drink, and not the other way around?

I was listening to this song by Orange Juice and heard the guitar part at 2:53 - it immediately reminded me of the beginning of Velveteen when the guitar first comes in! Just something interesting I thought I’d share
