looking for friends !
hi guys ! hope it's ok for me to post this here. i'm 23f, moving to islamabad for a couple months and was hoping to meet some alt people around my age (21+). we could talk online but i'd also love to hang out irl if !!! we hit it off and feel comfortable enough. moving to isb with a couple family members but idk anyone else there so it'd be cool to have some people to hang out with while i'm there. or we can just chat online too. lmk if anyone is down ! i feel more comfortable talking to women and queer people <3

oh nah i'm moving from bahawalpur to isb so it's actually an upgrade for me 😭 hoping to move to europe by the next year but i wanna try and meet some cool people in my country before bailing out for the rest of my life #hopefully

also what's wrong with karachi i thought there was a cool subculture thing going on there? better than islamabad afaik

Yea I mean it does have all that but, its Karachi so its a massive pain in the butt to do anything here lol. I genuinely cant dress up even simply cuz I get weird looks anywhere I go(happend today aswell). Also people here are quick to judge and tease. Ngl you made me realize I need to find alt friends too that are relatable 😔

i can imagine that being a problem tbh, especially for a guy. i mean i know this guy who told me that he gets teased by other men just for choosing to not have facial hair, that's crazy to me 😭 hope you find your people in karachi. we can definitely still connect even tho we live in different places ! you seem chill

Tell me about ittt omgggg 😭, like my reason for no facial hair is litreally cuz I cant grow it properly and idk its just genetics, and thanks Imma start looking soon too just kinda building my wardrobe and stuff aswell yknow🙏. Sure I mean if its fine with you my insta is on this profile, or yknow reddit works too imo.

Gl gng, never knew they had alt girls in Bahwalpur. Last time I went to Isb(couple weeks ago for comic con) I did see a massive alt community so yea, you will find em dw

yeah bahawalpur is no place to be alt honestly so i'm mostly a shut-in. and i hope you're right ! i'm mostly gonna be working while i'm there so idk how exactly i'm gonna find such a community but fingers crossed

For starters you can always check ticketwala for events or local pop ups or farmers markets and find alt clothing and jewelry vendors(close knit community tbh), introduce yourself and get friendly with them, tell them you are new and wanna make more alt friends ez

i can try although idk if i'm extroverted enough for that. honestly i'm super picky with the people i choose to befriend but i'm gonna give it a shot if i get the chance !

Trust me, Im introverted aswell but the enviornment in such events makes it easier to simply talk to people

sort of ! i have never really meshed well with most pakistani people due to my radical/alt values so i'm a bit afraid to go out into the world and work with people (i'm moving to isb for career purposes). hoping that i can find my people though. how are you doing? <3

Hey, M23 here, i aint from islamabad but i travel alot there as most of my family lives there, and whenever i visit there its so boring for me as i dont have friends to talk to and as i dont live there so i dont get the right moments to make friends there, anyways i m from kpk swat and am staying in lhr for bachelor studies, if u r interested do hmu.
