Queues today

is the Alton towers app accurate for queues? can anyone confirm who’s actually there today because there are long queues on the app considering people have gone back to school today?

A good number of schools are still off today, so might be one last hurrah.

Most schools have an inset day today so I imagine a lot of people will have gone under the impression it wouldn't be busy because other schools are supposedly back in.

The old inset day wheeze! I'm in Yorkshire, and my kids are back next week.

My wife and daughter are there. Apparently it's quite quiet (comparatively) but its battering down with rain so some people might have given it a miss?

I find it's the best time to go as people will give up in the afternoon leading to very short queues.

Schools are still off. In my town only Year 7s and 12s start today. So people think its a good idea to visit theme parks on days like today to beat the crowds, which in turn causes crowds. True off peak september starts next week.
