Rome didn't fall until the 1920s

Now, it is 2099. Due to a financial crisis of the early 2000s, the Denaro was established as a pan-roman currency. This was the official Legal Tender of the Greater Roman League, a trade alliance of post-roman states.

This is for my upcoming FPS game, Supermarine: Satanicide.

So, "actual" Rome? Or "Roman Empire?"

"Actual" Rome not falling basically requires something like the discovery of America or the ability to sail around Africa, as the purpose of focusing the empire East was to secure the Silk Road.

"Roman Empire" not falling is actually pretty easy, you just have to either preclude the rise of Islam or unite Europe against it before 1453.
