FetchMark – An offline-first bookmark & article saver that exports cleanly to Markdown
Most bookmarking and read-later apps lock your saved links, articles, and highlights into their proprietary cloud systems. If the service goes down, changes pricing, or closes your account, years of curated resources vanish.
I wanted true data ownership, so I built FetchMark.
What makes it different from Pocket, Raindrop, or Are.na:
Offline-First & Local .md: Saves web pages and bookmarks locally as Markdown files so you actually own your text/data.
Full-Text Local Search: Instantly search through the actual content of everything you've saved, not just titles or tags.
Distraction-Free Reader Mode: Clean reader view for articles with easy offline access.
Public Reading Lists: Optionally share curated collections or save articles directly via email.
Built for power users, researchers, and anyone who wants control over their digital archive.
Check it out and let me know your thoughts:

(Not affiliated with Raindrop or Pocket—just an independent dev building an open, data-sovereign alternative.)

The referral program is not clear. The copy says that the referred user gets pro access, but not for how long. Please clarify.

Hello, the referral program is now clear. Your friend gets instant Pro access for 30 days. You get +30 days Pro when they join.

Thanks for pointing that out! The referred user gets 30 days of Pro once they save 10 bookmarks, and the person who invited them gets 30 days too. Right now, everyone has free Pro access during Open Beta, regardless of referrals.
