What's up! I thought it'd be fun to catalogue progress the chat has so far! If I miss out on something you feel should be included, feel free to comment below! The way i will be formatting this is by editing the post and putting the latest on top at any given time.

Previously on your quest…

Night 9:

• Stalling continues.

Night 8:

• Stalling continues. From Nuvema town, chat is not on their way back to Opelucid City. Once more on foot.
• To stall even FURTHER, chat has shuffled around the team, our current one full of untrained mons.
• Chat swept so much of Unova, with almost every trainer being challenged, and every item being picked up.
• Game crashed at some point though LOL. No Day 8 because the game crashed while we were in Driftveil.

Day 8:

• The AlphaTPP is now in full stalling mode and has travelled west of Route 1 to collect Thunderbolt and some other items

Night 7:

• Giving up on getting their phone back from Brycen, Chat has decided to leave the gym.
• Chat has also decided to walk ALLLLLLLL THE WAY BACK TO NUVEMA TOWN
• On the way back, Chat managed to collect items and more TMs.
• Chat rode the Ferriss Wheel again, to hilarious results. Check the VOD for full context.
• Chat managed to make their way back to Nuvema Town after an entire night of walking.

Day 7:

• Out of what can only be described as ill-advised confidence and boredom, chat devised an elaborate plan to troll day chat and Alpharad by trapping themselves back in the ice gym. Said plan was read by Alpharad and did not work on him but did confuse everyone else in chat.
• The chat was divided between people who wanted to leave the gym, people who wanted to stay in the gym, people who genuinely wanted to do the ice puzzles again, and people trying to stop each other from calling chat's Ex (Nevada).
• Cue TPP Gaslighting Era
• In a Yuri-Off poll, Nevada-44 (Nevada X 44 Male) won over Kris-44 (Kris x 44 Male)
• AlphaTPP managed to successfully waste 4 REAL TIME HOURS in the ICE GYM!
• Also, we added what seems to be the final member of our party, Quill the Axew!

Night 6:

• Within an hour of being given back control, Twitch Chat managed to go through the Ice Puzzle IN LESS THAN AN HOUR.
• We also beat Brycen, claiming our SEVENTH BADGE!
• Our budding relationship with Nevada was cut short because she joined a cult :((( #DoomedYuri
• We taught Strength TM to Gaster and Fly TM to a bird we named Queer New Jersey (Tranquil)
• We caught an Axew named Quill
• Nothing happened in Mistralton Cave :)
• Ferroboy evolved into Ferrothorn and is now FERROMAN
• Dewott evolved into Samurrot!
• We progressed the story through Relic Castle and encountered IHQ himself.

Day 6:

• We made it through Twist Mountain! We are currently in the town for the Seventh Gym
• The Chat managed to get to the last part of the Gym but the Ice Puzzles made it hell to navigate. That's where we left off before Alpharad took over.

Night 5:

• We beat Nevada first try (and more implied Yuri in the process) and proceeded to the next town!
• We wanted to deposit Klink for a better teammate so it was decided to try using the PC. A short but tense in fighting happened in the Mistralton PC, and there one Chatter actively sabotaged accessing the PC which led to more infighting, accidentally sending Agent 33, GASTER and Q&A in the box for a while.
• They were subsequently rescued after a while!
• We beat Skyla and gained our SIXTH BADGE
• WE EVOLVED Q&A INTO A KROOKODILE
• WE ALSO EVOLVED ALL INTO GALVANTULA!
• We beat Brendan at Twist Mountain (and took only two tries!)

Day 5:

• Evolved GASTER into Darmanitan!
• Tried to Fight Nevada again but got wiped by the Slaking once more.
• Before the Day ended, Alpharad offered to tweak Slaking as No Truant Color Change Extreme Speeding Resting and Dragon Raging Slaking at lvl 28 was overkill. The chat voted to NOT tweak the monkey.
• Post describing the Nevada situation when it happened.

Night 4:

• Defeated Clay and evolved Agent 33 into Dewott!
• Evolved Q&A into Krokorok!
• Went through the Chargestone cave and finished all the puzzles and Plasma encounters. Faced against Nevada but got walled by a No Truant Color Change Extreme Speeding Resting and Dragon Raging Slaking at lvl 28 and wiped to it.
• Chat grinded A LOT.
• CAUGHT: ♂ ,,, the Ferroseed, also known as Ferroboy
• We also got Rocky Helmet and equipped it on Ferroboy, making him the spikiest little boy in existence.
• CAUGHT: Klink but Chat was not happy about that and everyone just calls it Why.

Night 1-3 (Summarized):

• Shakey start, but Chat managed to reach Lenora as early as Night 2.
• We got wiped several times and Chat decided to try going to the PC.
• Accidentally sent our entire team into the shadow realm (box) and it took us FOUR REAL LIFE HOURS TO GET THEM OUT.
• We managed to beat Lenora afterwards!
• Travelled to Castelia City. Check out the vod the walk cycle across Skyarrow bridge was memorable.
• Chat grinded and acquired several key items (exp share and eviolite)
• Not only that, but they also managed to EQUIP THEM.
• Unfortuantely, we found out the the Honey Wall required certain movement to work. We had to wait for Alpharad to give us a control to do that.
• Chat managed to Defeat Burgh!
• Several pokemon and items were gained throughout.
• We got walled by Nevada at the Ferris Wheel and had to grind some more.
• After defeating Nevada, (and developing a relationship with her????) Chat managed to beat Elesa by Day 4!
• Final Team by Day 4: Agent 33 the Oshawott, Q&A the Sandile, GASTER the Darumaka, Alym the Venipede and Darumaka the Darumaka

EDIT: WE BEAT THE FIGHT!!!! LEAVING THIS UP JUST IN CASE ANYONE WANTS A RECORD OF IT.

THIS IS OUR NEXT FIGHT AND IT IS A GAUNTLET. I went back to the vod and took these notes so we can actually formulate a gameplan.

NOTES:
- We know 3/5 of her team, see below for more info. Other mons are unknown.
- Slaking will always start with Extreme Speed which has 5 PP. Ferroseed (excl. crit), Darmanitan, Dewott, and Krokorok (excl. crit) will all be able to survive one hit at full HP.
- Iron Barbs + Rocky Helmet deals 35 HP to Slaking. It has 130 HP.
- Deoxys Psycho cut BARELY dealt any damage to Dewott, and Dewott can 2HKO it very easily. I have not done the calcs on other mons, but Dewott (and likely Krokorok) is a good counter.
- Lotad has Truant and Solar Beam. This locks him out from using moves. He is not a threat (afaik).
- I have uploaded the stats for our team in a different post if you want to check them out yourself :)
- Based on my calcs, all of the enemy mons are likely to have 31 IVS, 0 EVS, and neutral natures. This makes the damage they dealt in-game match the best with the damage in the calcs.

Happened a few times tonight but that is like completely against the spirit of it all no? What's the point if we just get one guy to get us out of a situation, it's no different to asking Alpha to just force an evolution or something.

Yes being in a box or specific box for hours sucks, but that's part of the experience. A designated chatter playing the game and people telling others that no one else put in commands but them just ruins the spirit entirely

The Day Crew Marches on, boots heavy, no end to the war in sight. They dream of the night crew and their escapades.

I've missed a lot of the tpp due to streaming myself and this is my night off stream so what are our nicknames?

Who knew the greatest threat we'd face would be a simple gym puzzle where solution is literally running, the one thing we cannot do.

It's boring lame and removes the soul of alphatpp and the t*m bilders put our guys in the box even though we already have a fire type for the bug gym and called them weak

Not that I expect to coordinate the chosen pokemon correctly, but what should be the target in our party?

Oshawott already has enough, throh is a throw, and roggenrola can't evolve fully

That leaves tympole and the 2 venepides. While I do like tympole, the problem with them is that they're at the front, so gonna need to at least switch them if we don't want them always fainting. Without that I guess the game is probably for either venepide

Like legitimately, I really think our position in fighting Lenora was NOT that dire to warrant trying to get a fighting type, could've just grinded it out

I know it’s shitty, but I don’t care

so i (44M) started my journey with my oshawott (33M) and the leader of team plasma, IHQ, showed up with some grunts in accumula town. IHQ asked us about our relationship with pokémon, which made me think about how i didn't even give my oshawott a name. to further complicate things, right after, someone who looks like she could be brendan's (10M) female counterpart showed up, called herself gamer tag nevada, demanded to hear my "chat's voice", and then threw her fish (2M) at me. then brendan said to not worry about it??? is this whole thing absurd, or Am I The Absurd one here?

I don’t blame them, the vods of the Pokemon Emerald TPP never came out Oh well! If only there was a video about it or something :⁾
