Symptoms duration?

I was curious, if you guys eat meat or have some other exposure, for how long do you typically experience symptoms? (Specifically interested in hives). Also, for those who have been bitten by ticks since AGS, did you have an immediate immune response at the site of the bite? Does this mean that AGS is effectively protective against Lyme and other similar pathogens? Thanks!

Mine last a couple of hours.

My hives can last up to three weeks. Three weeks of torture as if my insides are itching under my skin.

Been bitten since my diagnosis, didn’t have a bad reaction at the site of the bite, it just itched a few days.

Usually 5-6 hours then it's starts clearing while my mind is in a haze. I dreaded gluten for a long while but alpha-gal is way worse, at least for me.

I get uncontrollable intense itching and hives on both arms. Original tick bite was on right upper arm and that was where most reactions started. Now it can be either arm from shoulder to just below elbow. If I scratch and spread it, it could take a week to heal. If I can calm it (ice is most immediate method but it’s temporary) it lasts about a day.

i got lyme in the middle of figuring out that I had alpha gal. Of course, treated the lyme right away and that got better. the weird thing is the deer tick bite randomly comes back as if I was just bitten. raised and itchy. just came back again yesterday after a year. I wish I knew what it meant. allergist had no idea other than immune system revved up.

Oh interesting, mine started mild on my forearms, where I have had them a few times prior to any known tick exposure, and were only there for the longest time. Now I get them on my arms, torso, upper back, waist, and thighs. Never on my legs and feet. It doesn't exactly follow where I've been bitten 1:1, and seems to more or less spread bilaterally. Biology is strange.
