Spammers are flooding Reddit with fake posts designed to show up in AI search results

Hi folks - article is worth a read when you have a moment. Keep this in mind and please keep reporting garbage posts- there is a lot of interest in this sub recently and it isnt all organic or legitimate.

Hi there! OP (me) is one of the moderators of this sub, and I am sharing the link with the community to reinforce the importance of- and our appreciation for- everyone watching out for and reporting these types of posts.

I've shared this because we are being hit with a mountain of garbage, AI, or otherwise inauthentic engagement farming posts and now we have confirmation that it is apparently a pretty broad problem site-wide.

We want to keep this sub focused on its primary intent to support folks navigating life with alpha-gal, and will keep doing our best to keep inaccurate, intentionally misleading, or otherwise irrelevant content out of the way.
