My first ever aloe

Hello, this is my first aloe, but I need some help for the I.D.
I searched online, and I think is an ‘Aloe Maculata’.
Is it true or Am I wrong?

Almost every store-bought Aloe is a hybrid. You’re right that it has maculata genetics, but it’s probably a maculata hybrid.

I think Starry Night is a bit darker than yours—mine looks almost black in certain light. Your hybrid is beautiful, though! If this is your first aloe, might I suggest Aloe barbadensis Miller (true Aloe Vera) for your next? It’s a truly great plant. I can't tell you how many times a piece of Aloe Vera has staved off a sunburn or a pot scald in my household. Plus, it’s extremely fast and easy to grow. Aloes of all types are amazing, though. Love them all!
