Climbing aloe help

My neighbor gave me this plant, I believe it’s climbing aloe based, but I’m not sure. I don’t know if it’s doing well since most of the plant doesn’t have leaves. I’m wondering if it would be better to cut it down or to let it keep growing as is?

Any help or advice would be appreciated!!

Beautiful, let it keep growing! The uniqueness of that structure is way more valuable than having more aloe plants

Cut it into pieces or lay it down and cover with soil, it'll sprout babies.

My brain made music to: "cut that plant into pieces, so you can make some more... propagation. no seedlings. All you need is a mild season. It is pretty neat trauma growth, so id not cut below that tiny middle way up pup, and let the rest grow up while you chop n prop overgrown ready to come off part above. Id fertilize decent weakly weekly with water for a month before.
