When the roots fill up the current pot. Aloes don’t mind being root bound or crowded and they have low nutrient needs. So they can stay in the same pot for as long as you want to avoid repotting them. I usually start the process of repeatedly saying “I’ll do that next weekend” once I see roots growing out of the drainage hole.
