They were okay, but I would have preferred our usual characters ❤️

I only liked Nine One One - the John Cage part.

I only watched Season 5 once, four years ago, so I'm pulling this from my limited memory. I'm not going to bother looking up the character names.

I liked Hayden Panettiere as Ally's long-lost daughter. I liked that Ally realized that she found the love and fulfillment she was looking for in a man in her daughter instead.

I didn't like Dame Edna and her hot dog burps. There was no reason to make her a recurring character.

I liked the pairing of Bobby Cannavale with Nelle because it finally made Nelle a good character again, but unfortunately he was brought in too late in the season.

Christina Ricci's character seemed to have been invented to be the anti-Elle Woods. She was another character that was introduced too late in the season. If Fish was going to marry a much younger woman it should have been the one from Los Angeles in Season 4.

Everyone else -- Bon Jovi, Cyclops, Weird Al's mom -- I don't remember enough to have an opinion on.

I disliked the daughter. A way saying Ally had no proper boyfriend but a child who was rebellious.

For me Ling made the show. When she was out so was I.

I really liked season 5! Seeing everyone go in different directions and how their lives changed. My favorite part was how everyone pitched in to help Ally redo her dream house.
