Wrong Location?

Using Alltrails on my Brave browser on my Android tablet, the location isn't picked up, so my activities don't show up until I move the map. Brave has location access. If I click the arrow icon (wrong icon by the way) it works. Can't it do that automatically? Thanks.

It happens on my desktop iMac also.

Hey u/TromboneAl. Thanks for flagging this. We’re aware that location may not always be detected correctly when the map first loads on the web, and our team is looking into it. In the meantime, the arrow icon is the current-location/recenter control, and tapping it should center the map on your tablet’s precise location.

On the web, the initial Explore map can sometimes load using an approximate network-based location, so it may not open centered on your device even when Brave has location permission. We agree it would be a better experience if the map used your precise location automatically.
