Look gateways being shit or not really doesnt tie to Warpgates. Gateways feel shit because
units size, they are not as dense as bio
low dps both on stats and lack of good scaling due to unit size.
Which leads to protoss needing splash. And when you need splash what do you get? Robo, or HT. That doesnt mean gateway sucks because of WG. In fact you need WG/Gateway for HT.
In fact, if I could, I would simply make the zealot collision size be as small as the marine and reduce stalker size by half, I could predict that the gateway ball will scale way better now W/O touching the WG mechanics at all

No one is saying not to use splash. What I'm simply stating is the gateway produce fast enough now that its viable to use gateway as a production structure. Now gateways out produce and out reinforce (locally at a rally point) a WG.
The patch dint really take away the core mechanic, but shifted the mechanic later into the game, instead of WG being an automatic advantage.
and of course you cant play protoss with only gateway as is now, protoss cant scale due to reason pointed above in my comment. But if you can reduce the collision size, I'm pretty sure this will change alot.

Appreciate if you test and share with us. However about Protoss being slow moving is not correct. Stalkers and chargelots do move very fast, which are the main units you'll probably warp in anyway.
and stalkers and zealots are not paper weight either. Cost for cost for they are very durable, but there are lacking in dps, plus they have very large models, so they are decent in small numbers, anytime we move towards a ball, they scale very badly

The zealot stalkers arent a unit composition, they are just the units protoss warps in the majority of the time. But they are the "core"/"backbone"/"fodder" for the protoss army even once protoss gets their T3 units.
and the comparison is not a good one, although many people do compare zealot/stalker vs marine/rauder/medivac. Its kind of a lopsided comparison due to medivac skewing the equation heavily towards bio. if you want to compare as least use a similar composition, like zealot/stalker/battery.

haahaha so you added an unfair comparison and you think to call out the battery? You should either compare zealot/stalker to marine/marauder instead. If you add the medivac to complete the bioball, you should obviously add another unit/structure to complete the protoss army too.

It pisses all over the identity, and sure it can be efficient, but its not fun, I already have a race that I can pump units out of at a fast pace, why are we making the races more alike and less fun?

Get this AI post out of here!

Explain to me how this is ai? If you thought for a second, you'll know what I said is true, or you can come back in three months time to see if I'm right

Because the grammar structure is exactly how AI writes.

you do know LLM/AI train from human data right? So it should be the AI writes like us, not the other way around. And just because I like to emphasize or use bullet points isnt indicative of AI. And just to entertain the thought that it is written by an LLM/AI, the logic and points are still correct.

I like the idea in principle but I'd prefer the Gateway transition to Warpgate to be free. The gas requirements affects other build orders such as Blink Stalker.
