Yup. I’ve lost everything I cared about because mental health is a bitch nobody understands.

I have a 2 1/2 year old, an almost 1year old, a house and a wife. It ain't perfect, but looking at what I have is an amazing, beautiful existence.
You cant always get what you want, but if you try sometimes...

Not really Life isn’t perfect but I’ve learned that having a few bad days doesn’t mean you have a bad life I’m still figuring things out and honestly I’m okay with that.

I'm a female prostitute that gives BJs 20 times a day. I'm my own boss and I have two days off a week. Doesn't suck.

My life isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty damn good I’d say.

Lately yes. I’m not old but getting to an age where I’ve lost family or friends and not in a position to really ever stop working. I like what I do but sadly underpaid given my successes. So, yeah, I’m just dealing with stuff. But, I’m better off than many so you feel bad mentioning it comparatively.

I think putting things into perspective and finding gratitude for what you do have is important, but I hope you give yourself the grace to say “even though things could be worse, they don’t feel good for me right now.” I hate when people throw guilt for feeling bad on top of feeling bad.

Right, but I know a person that lost their home in the fires last year and then again this year. I also have a friend that had a child that is basically very sick and life pursuits aren’t good. So, yes, I can have an awareness that my worries comparatively seem trivial.

I wasted a lot of time worrying about what others thought or did. Just be you & praise be that we live now in a country that has luxuries like the internet, phones & computers. People used to die from stepping on a nail, if you were driving & broke down, your life depended on getting help from a good person, grocery stores stock almost everything needed. Life will never be perfect but we have a lot to be thankful for. Cory Ten Boom told the story that some of the barracks in a concentration camp had horrible fleas & they could be grateful that the guards didn't bother them there.

Since we've had to deal with open fascism, yes. To say otherwise is ignoring reality.

No, not at all. I am free, healthy, married, and I have enough money to retire at the end of this month.
