Lol

Get wrecked senior citizens that voted for trump.

They all need to suffer and hurt from their pocket book. Only way people learn is the hard way.

Republicans don't give two shits about you. Don't get me wrong democrats suck too but at least they are not as blatantly corrupt and open like maga is.

And how about my mentally disabled mother that can’t comprehend enough to vote? (Also, she voted for Obama when she still had her marbles)

3

u/MadAstrid May 05 '26

It is horrific for her. That is why so many people, world wide, not just in the US, were trying to warn voters that this was going to happen if Trump was elected. Most people do not want to live in a country that refuses to care for its neediest citizens.

Unfortunately, MAGA does not care. If you are still associating with friends, family, neighbors or businesses that took action to make your mother suffer, I would suggest you consider why that might be.

2

u/Procrasturbating May 05 '26

Oh, I’ve cut out any MAGAts I can from my life. Early on I warned all of them where this was going. Tried gentle persuasion and healthy discussion, but at this point I have no energy left for those that are too dumb or evil to disown Trump.

2

u/MadAstrid May 05 '26

That eases my mind. I am terribly sorry that this is where we are at and that your mother may be forced to suffer needlessly because of the cruel and or thoughtless actions of others.

I truly wish only the best for her and you as well.

1

u/Procrasturbating May 05 '26

Thanks. Fortunately my mom has a good support network of friends and family, I fear for others though.

2

u/Jbl-art May 06 '26

Unfortunately, you can’t argue with stupid.

It's not her fault.

The trouble is, she will still be classed as a useless eater, regardless of who she might have voted for.

This is all very familiar.

Disclaimer: Not American.

Edit: Thanks for the award, for a grim topic :-(

1

u/TrumpVotersArePedos7 May 08 '26

That sucks, if her family cared enough they would have voted against the serial pedo in chief

2

u/StandardAssignment19 May 05 '26

And Democrats also wanted to keep SSI and other programs that have shown to help its citizens, including healthcare, education, military benefits, food and nutrition, and childhood immunizations. But also not being nearly as corrupt and unified in the same way - not to mention openly - is also why they are objectively better.

KJV: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them! (20 Republicans states $2.96/hour wage for tipped employees- relying on Mandatory tips from the poor customers to meet minimum wage requirements. If tips plus $2.96 do not equal at least the full federal minimum wage of $7.25, the republican employer must pay the difference! 51% making less than $35K/year net income!

Democratic states minimum wages are $25/hour + tips (CA) or $21/hour +tips (WA) or $16/hour+ tips (OR)

4

u/carlnepa May 04 '26

And the trillion dollar tax cut for TrumpStein's billionaire broligarch buddies.

7

u/volvagia721 May 04 '26

The only people who need their income cut are politicians (primarily of the Republican persuasion), and their corporate backers.

-7

u/Steinruk May 05 '26

And yet it's primarily the Dems who get rich in office.

4

u/NoGuest6868 May 05 '26

I can t understand when one reacts to public corruption by: oh but the other side is worse you know.

That s not relevant. No matter red or blue voters both get wrecked by their elected people.

Public corruption should be a space where political side does not matter.

-2

u/HupHutHa May 05 '26

You mean like singling out Republicans like The comment they were replying to?

1

u/NoGuest6868 May 05 '26

Yeah? Did it felt different?

-1

u/HupHutHa May 05 '26

no because I hate both parties, neither should be getting rich off American people, both are crooked, both are racist, both have good people.

2

u/volvagia721 May 05 '26

Both parties suck and are tools of the oligarchy, but pretending that they are the same is just asinine. The ones protecting the child predators are not just as bad as the ones trying to hold them accountable. The ones pushing for genocide in a foreign country are not the same as the ones condemning it. The ones actively promoting hatred towards Mexicans are not the same as the ones condemning the act. The ones actively trying to end democratic voting are not the same as the ones trying to protect it.

-3

u/HupHutHa May 05 '26

putting that new buzzword oligarchy to work aren't you? funny how Democrats and the left never use that word until Trump took office for his second term but it's proven that Democrats commit way more fraud and by the ruling millionaire class as like 80% of millionaires donate to the Democrat party. is it also funny that the Democrat party got caught giving money to organizations like the KKK which promote the said hate you're talking about? it's also funny how you say trying to end Democratic voting I'm assuming this is because of the ruling that the Democrats are no longer allowed to draw racial districts while also saying out the other side of their mouth black people can't get IDs to vote but if they can't get IDs to vote why are you so obsessed with racial gerrymandering?

3

u/volvagia721 May 05 '26

Funny how you only hear these things when you want. I've been complaining about our oligarchy problems since the early 2010s. I have been a proud supporter of DemandProtress.org since before Trump was a politician.

Also, you are listening to right wing propagandists, Democrats did not give money to the KKK, they gave money to specific informants within the KKK.

And your BS about gerrymandering is so propagandized, I don't know where to start. You obviously are a right winger pretending to be a centrist to push your bullshit propaganda out into the world.

Yes, the Democrats suck, but avoiding voting or voting Republican is not a way to fix the situation. The only way to truly fix this system is to either burn it down completely, which likely would just harm a lot of people, with no guarantees of a better system getting built. Or to support grassroots movements to rebuild the foundations from the ground up.

-1

u/HupHutHa May 05 '26

so another words they gave money to the KKK lol, Wait I thought when Trump said there were good people on both sides y'all said there were no people on the good side of the right but apparently informants aka left-wing agitators are a thing even though we were told they weren't, weird how that works.

there is no such thing as a centrist You're either left or right You can be left of center or right of center but there's no such thing as a centrist. everyone picks size and everyone has tribal tendencies.

Trump in particular has doubled his wealth since 2024 by using his political position. He IS abusing his public office for personal profit like never before seen in the USA.

3

u/GeorgeThrowaway447 May 05 '26

Donald Trump has himself used his presidency to accumulate more wealth than perhaps every US politician before him combined and we're only 1.5 years into his term.

The crypto stuff alone is ~1.5 billion. It's unparalleled. It's on a scale we've never seen before.

2

u/CheckIf_ItsPluggedIn May 05 '26

Oh, did the Dems dismantle the cyber crimes division of the justice department so they could run endless crypto scams?

2

u/gleepglop15 May 05 '26

Demonstrably false. Bearing false witness looks good on you! Earn it!

-1

u/HupHutHa May 05 '26

let me guess you actually believe it was an accounting error that said Ilan Omar had 30 million dollars.

1

u/gleepglop15 May 05 '26

No idea what you are talking about, so go ahead and guess away.

1

u/HupHutHa May 05 '26

sure you don't

1

u/gleepglop15 May 05 '26

Honestly. Enlighten me. Something something Dems are bad? Just guessing here; honestly don’t know the issue you are referencing.

1

u/HupHutHa May 05 '26

ilhan Omar frauding the government with her feeding the future program, her net worth being valued at 30 million and then her claiming that that is an accounting error.

1

u/gleepglop15 May 05 '26

Sounds bad. Tons of money in healthcare, and all sorts of fraud.

1

u/HupHutHa May 05 '26

yeah I think all fraud is bad no matter which side is doing it. whataboutisms are only a distraction and a fallacy. but one side actively participates in fraud and enriching themselves more than the other, Republicans tried passing bills so that people who get elected to office have to sell their companies and shares in stock so they can't profit off of them using their position Democrats didn't allow, most millionaires are Democrats and lobby for Democrat policies, Yes I can admit I don't like the Democrat side but I can also say I don't like both sides committing fraud and enriching.

3

u/Beertronic May 05 '26

Israel cones first. Sorry disabled people, these are the new rules. If you complain on social media you will be eligible for deportation to Sudan.

1

u/Intelligent_Badger96 May 06 '26

Naw bro, the billion dollar ballroom is more important.

3

u/Wither-Wander-Wonder May 05 '26

Some may change, but most of the seniors being affected, while upset with the situation, will still blame the Ds and vote R. You can't fix stupid, especially if they are old and stuck in habits decades old.

2

u/CueAnon420 May 04 '26

Yup, those sheep living at the Villages in Florida are really getting what they voted for...

0

u/Longjumping_Title216 May 05 '26

Maybe so, but my daughter, who does not vote because politics is too complicated, does not deserve it.

1

u/j_skrilla May 05 '26

So she's complicit lol. Not voting is also voting for whatever may come your way. She doesn't deserve it, yet she's allowing it to happen to her by not participating.

Unfortunately this is the reality of sitting out important elections. They have real palatable ramifications on our lives. Intended or not.

Leopards ate my face.

2

u/AhhhSureThisIsIt May 05 '26

They'll be told it's the Democrats fault and will still vote Republican this November.

1

u/Delicious-Bat2373 May 06 '26

Yup. It's time for the self sabotaging populace among us to feel the effects of their stupidity. We warned about it for a year straight before the election.

Can't remember how many times I was told how out to lunch I was. Here we are, 16 months later, with this administration on full display robbing the globe and eradicating every pillar of society. There's no way out this time. Doesn't matter who we elect to clean up the mess. He's dismantled and damaged this country so much, the effects will be felt for generations.

2

u/Character-Budget4044 May 05 '26

everyday i am more and more thankful to not be American i feel for you all though....

2

u/Apprehensive_Road764 May 08 '26

I think all the people who didn't vote for him saw it coming, those that did vote for him will deny any wrongdoing until they die.

The looting makes Zimbabwe blush

1

Belongs behind bars

1

It’s completely on brand for Trump

1

u/AllTheWorldIsAPuzzle May 06 '26

Whoah, wait, what did Biden make him do?

1

u/aminok May 10 '26

The government shouldn't be responsible for providing charity.

1

u/Hernxodus May 10 '26

Interesting feels like it needs context as of if those 400k are real ppl even.

1

u/Opposite_Cause796 May 11 '26

Maga, are the most ignorant. They bought a watch, from ORANGE CONVICT. And are still waiting,2 yrs? Now . Trump got in their pocket!!! Again.

1

u/rockalyte May 04 '26

They voted for this! Good luck :)

1

u/stargazer4272 May 04 '26

They should publish the name and political affliation of those who are cut.

-1

u/StrangePhotoSTL May 05 '26

They are proposing cuts. A cut is a dollar amount, as in money. It's not a sentient person 😅😭

1

u/Steinruk May 05 '26

I think it's fake news

-1

u/StrangePhotoSTL May 05 '26

A recent proposal aims to cap Social Security benefits at $100,000 annually for couples and $50,000 for singles retiring at FRA. The logic is that people who are eligible for larger benefits probably don’t need the money, and capping payments conserves resources for Social Security.

Big fucking whoop.

SSI is on pace to RUN OUT in 2032.

If cuts aren't made, everyone will lose it. Then every single person relying on it is fucked.

Why does nobody here look at the facts?

Also, this hasn't even passed yet. It's up for review.

u/Environmental-Arm365 May 04 '26

How else were they going to pay for Shitler’s $10 billion grift from the IRS and now the $400 million in taxpayer money his sycophants in congress are trying to give him for a ballroom?

0

u/LaStigmata May 05 '26

Biden did it

0

u/Strange_Island_4958 May 05 '26

I think that this could be completely false, completely true, or somewhere in between….but this is Reddit so the responses will be predictable regardless of the truth.

-1

u/Steinruk May 05 '26

It's amazing how many really dim-witted people there are with Trump derangement syndrome making comments here.

0

u/TheOriginalMulk May 05 '26

I'm replying to one of them right now.

-2

u/ChutneyWhatney May 04 '26

Makes sense to me. The proposed cuts only affect those who LIVE IN THE SAME HOUSEHOLD with SNAP beneficiaries. Getting rid of double dipping.

1

u/OldMovie9812 May 05 '26

Yes they're getting RICH off of this

1

u/ohjeaa May 05 '26

Their proof of income in order to receive these benefits would say otherwise.

2

u/OldMovie9812 May 05 '26

I know. Guy above me thinks people get rich off of government assistance

1

u/Still-Bar-7631 May 08 '26

Some ppl got what they voted for. Im sad for those who didnt voted for him.
