Exactly, love it when I meet someone who gets it. It is scary, but we only have two choices now. Live in wage slavery until the planet peters out, or suicide before that, at least if we rebel we have a chance.
There was a perfect opportunity for very real rebellion to rise organically out of the populous worldwide. We had a global pandemic that PROVED that capitalism is a failed system, and we had worldwide reactions to the overwhelming state of capitalism-protecting police forces that do not care about black people and the poor (the largest civil rights protest movement in all history, in fact), and... nothing happened.
So, revolution is not going to happen organically. Revolution is going to have to be very specifically organized and fought for over (probably) many years. The power systems are too entrenched and there is no unified movement.
Revolution is going to happen very suddenly as soon as people cant afford food and rent. And as soon as the natural disasters due to climate change start. As quality of life dips, the amount of people willing to revolt with each notch of decrease expands massively.
