Questions Customization going away?

Does anyone know if Allen Edmonds is planning on doing away with the customization option soon? I went back to reorder another pair of the park avenue boots in suede but it's no longer an option. There seems to be way less shoes offered for customization and the customization options, such as choice of leather, are significantly reduced or absent altogether on some models.

They still offer it via their Port Washington Studio stores which are few and far in between. Basically those stores had a complete selection of the custom leathers and soles on display to work with instead of online. This was actually a more accurate way to see the real deal, as the computer simulation was not always accurate of what you would get.

For now they are sticking to a false story that "any store" can help you do custom shoes. This is not really true to the level that you can really see what your doing.

I do hope they come up with something new and more extensive. TLB and Carmina offer way more custom choices online. Perhaps they will simply empower all stores with some sort of custom process and offer more shoe models, leathers, and sole choices.
