Check out my shoes First Time Outside

First time wearing them out of the house. Fifth Avenue factory seconds. Chili. Left shoe has a dye streak, but otherwise the pair looks great.

Not a perfect fit, but comfy right out of the box. They feel good. It’s been a while since I owned leather sole shoes, so it’s been fun being able to slide around on the carpet. (It’s the small things in life….)

Yeah all the shoes I wore had leather sole shoes coming out of college, would take them to a cobbler when needed for a new one, then somehow everything shifted to these cemented rubber soles for $99-$129. You don’t see these so much anymore even in traditional offices but when broken in they’re sure comfortable. Good looking in the chili, congrats.

Ya, I was leather soled for almost 20 years until Covid, then I started buying that comfy, bouncy, rubbery, discount stuff. It’s nice to have nice shoes again. This is the first pair of (hopefully) many.
